The beaches of Manuel Antonio are singularly beautiful with stunning, brightly-colored sunsets. The light sand beaches in the coastal park are popular for relaxing, swimming, snorkeling, and surf lessons.

Manuel Antonio is the smallest park in Costa Rica, but abundant with wildlife. Capuchin, Howler, and Squirrel Monkeys are some of the most social creatures in the park. Don’t feed them, and hold on to your snacks! You can also expect to see sloths, iguanas, agoutis, and hundreds of species of birds – just to name a few. If you are touring Manuel Antonio National Park on your own, please be aware that the road to the National Park will be crowded with people selling their own services as “guides” and for parking or entrance tickets. They will dress like official rangers or guides and may have tags identifying them as park staff, but they are impostors with no relation to the park whatsoever. They will try and sell you overpriced tickets, tours, and parking kilometers away from the entrance.
